Newtons' Laws of Motion are of central importance in Mechanics. If you are conceptually strong in all the three Laws then you can easily understand and explain a large number of real life examples. To gain mastery in Physics you can not avoid solving problems in physics. When you start studying Physics for IIT-JEE you must have proper understanding of Vector Algebra and Calculus.
